I think it's a little silly that you're comparing Israel's actively engaging in a violent genocide as being at all comparable to anything the Chinese government is currently doing. Particularly when your examples of people being discriminated against because of disingenuous Sinophobia accusations are ones who actually have employers in China. If Israel was only discriminating against journalists who made anti-Zionist statements in Israel itself, that would be bad, but it would hardly qualify as an international agenda attempting to prevent anyone in the world from criticizing the state of Israel for any reason.

I don’t think an increase in hostility towards Chinese ex-pats when hostilities with China are high proves such an ideology exists anymore than it does with the Germans in WW1/2, the Russians in the Cold War / today, the Japanese in WW2 etc.
What am I missing? I know you said you’re not saying antisemitism and Sinophobia are the same, but aside from the parallels between how hostilities towards China and Israel play out, I don’t see many similarities
I really do think there's a similar ideology re: East Asian people, especially Chinese people, where they're seen as conniving, threateningly hypercompetent, having a strong in-group preference etc. Maybe it's more of a thing in Australia since the topic of China invading and being assisted by the diaspora comes up a lot here.
